Artist Statement

Simon Fieldhouse is a Sydney based artist who over 15 years has specialised in painting Historic Architecture of Australia. The works are usually finely detailed and often include a humorous character somewhere in the picture which makes a social comment on the use of the building. Of recent years Simon has branched out into the world of interiors and small amount of International Architecture. Many of his drawings have been published.

Worked as a legal clerk and studied law part-time eventually qualifying as a solicitor
Ceased with law and began working for architects in models and graphics
Began painting and exhibiting full time.
